As the above
suggestions make clear, finding information on a lesser-known group is not
easy. That is why AFF has initiated a special research service as part of its Family
Education Service. For a $50 fee we will perform a preliminary search to try to locate
resources that may help you, including:
Since we are familiar with this area, we
can often locate relevant resources more efficiently than a newcomer. Sometimes, we are
able to find such resources. Sometimes, however, our search turns up empty. We cannot
guarantee that information is available or accessible to us. Nevertheless, we will try our
best.
Depending upon what we come up with, we may
be able to offer additional services, such as the collection and mailing of articles that
may be relevant to you. The fees for these services will vary depending upon what our
initial search discovers.
Although the telephone costs and manpower
involved in such searches (which rely a great deal upon the dedication of volunteers) are
much greater than the fee we request, we try to keep the fee low in order that more people
may benefit. We are, however, a tax-exempt organization dependent upon the financial
support of people like you. If you are able, therefore, we will deeply appreciate any
additional contributions you may make.
