Robert B. Cialdini,
Ph.D. received graduate training from the University of North Carolina and
Columbia University. He has held Visiting Scholar Appointments at Ohio State University,
the University of California, the Annenberg School of Communications, and the Graduate
School of Business of Stanford University. Additionally, Dr. Cialdini has been elected
President of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. He is currently Regent's
Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University, where he has also been named
Distinguished Graduate Research Professor.
His
book, Influence: the Science of
Persuasion, is the result of years of study into the reasons that
people comply with requests in business settings. It has sold over a quarter million
copies in nine languages. |
