Link Index: by topic type
This Web site
creates a separate page for each link, providing
a description and title for the link (using
information on the linked site whenever
possible). Each link page is coded according to
the groups, topics, or other categories to which
the link may be relevant. (Sites that have
information on multiple groups or topics will
receive a code for each of those groups or
topics.) The link title is thereby able to
appear on pages that list resources on a
particular group, topic, or other category. For
example, link pages pertinent to group A will
appear in the list of resources on group A's
profile page on our site.
If you are
interested in a particular group or topic, keep
in mind that you will find links relevant to that
group or topic on the group or topic page. For
example, if you click on the topic index page in
the "Indexes" section below and then click on
"definitional issues," you will go to a page that
lists all documents, links, and other resources
on this site that have received the code
"definitional issues." Clicking on the
individual document or link in the "definitional
issues" list will then bring you to the specific
information contained in that document or link.
We are completely
rebuilding the links component of this site.
When we finish, the "Resources" section below
will contain
hyperlinks to only two link index pages. The
first will provide a list of our links by title;
the second a list by URL (which is useful if you
want to find out if we have a link to a
particular site). These two index pages may be
useful, if you wish to browse our links without
regard to group, topic, or other category.
For now, however,
we also list below various existing link index
pages that group links according to various
classifications. We hope you will be
understanding during this transition period.
Thank you.
