Chapman University is located at the corner of University Drive and Glassell Street in the historically preserved Old Towne section of the city of Orange California, with coffee shops, theaters, libraries and restaurants within walking distance of the campus. Orange County is home to several major attractions, including
Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Edison Field, Arrowhead Pond, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, including Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach. ^
Accommodations will be in Henley Hall. Each room includes two twin beds, a desk and a dresser, and a private bathroom, but does not include a TV, radio, or telephone. Telephones and TV's are available in lounges on each floor. Room and meal reservations can be made on the Conference Registration Form. If you
prefer hotel accommodations, contact AFF; we will send you a list of nearby hotels. Chapman University has asked AFF to pre-assign rooms in the residence hall. If you have a roommate or want us to assign you one, please indicate that on the Registration Form. Free parking is available in a garage under Henley Hall. ^
Conference meetings will be in the Argyros Forum Conference and Meeting Center, located a short walk from Henley Hall. ^

In order to keep meal costs so low, Chapman requires that meals be sold in �packages,� i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner, not individually. For this reason, meals are included with the registration fee.
Air travel should be arranged to Orange County's John Wayne Airport, which is 15 minutes from campus, or Los Angeles International Airport, which is 45 minutes from campus. Amtrak train service is available to Anaheim and Santa Ana, with taxi service available to Chapman. For drivers, Chapman is located at the corner of University
Drive and Glassell Street, which is reachable from the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) or the Orange Freeway (Hwy. 57). Your registration confirmation packet will include detailed driving directions. ^
Travel from Airport
AFF has made arrangements with Xpress Shuttle Service for discounted transportation from area airports to Chapman University. To make a reservation, call toll free 800-427-7483 or Fax 310-323-8222. Please refer to AFF when placing a reservation. Xpress Shuttle will give you a confirmation number and instructions. Upon arrival,
claim your baggage, then contact Xpress Shuttle from any public phone at 1-800-427-7483. Give the agent your confirmation number and they will direct you to your assigned van. AFF will mail a discount coupon to you with your conference registration confirmation. If you send us your arrival and departure flight information, we will endeavor to put you together with other AFF
conference participants to save you all money.

Please try to place your reservation 24 hours prior to the pick up time; however we may be able to accommodate your request on a shorter notice as well.

Upon arrival at LAX please claim your baggage first then proceed to contact our Reservation & Dispatch Center toll free from any public phone in or around baggage claim area at 1-800 I ARRIVE (1-800-427-7483) give the agent your confirmation number and she/he will then direct you to your assigned van promptly.
If you send AFF your arrival day and times, airport of arrival, and airline, we will try to connect you to people who may be able to share a shuttle with you and thereby reduce the cost. A cell phone number might make it easier for people sharing a shuttle to make sure they stay in contact with each other. ^
